About the Course

This course is for parents who have completed the Fundamentals class and want more support with the real-life challenges of mixed-faith parenting. In Part 2, we focus on two core skills every mixed-faith family needs: learning to compromise in healthy, workable ways and creating family rituals that support connection and belonging for everyone. My goal is to give you practical tools you can apply right away,  rooted in differentiation-based parenting and shaped by the specific dynamics of LDS mixed-faith homes. These lessons are designed to help you move from feeling stuck to feeling more confident, collaborative, and steady as you navigate your family’s path forward.

As both a professional who specializes in mixed-faith marriages and a parent navigating mixed-faith dynamics in my own home, I’ve spent years searching for practical ways to help families manage the real complexities that come with differing beliefs. This course brings together some of my favorite, most effective strategies for helping mixed-faith families thrive. My training with the Gottman Institute first introduced me to many of the ideas you’ll learn here, and I continued deepening that knowledge by studying experts in negotiation, collaboration, and parenting. The tools in this course reflect that cumulative work, distilled, applied, and tailored specifically for LDS mixed-faith families.
